Service Areas

We serve the entire Twin Cities metro — from Minneapolis and Saint Paul to the surrounding suburbs.

Minneapolis Kitchen & Bath is based in Minneapolis and serves homeowners throughout the Twin Cities metro. Click any city for detailed local information, typical home styles, permit notes, and pricing for that area.

Minneapolis

Hennepin County · 0 minutes (we're based here)

Minneapolis housing stock skews older — many homes were built between 1900 and 1940, which means knob-and-tube wiring, galvanized supply lines, and plaster walls are common surprises during a remodel. Plan for a 10–15% contingency for any pre-1950 home.

Saint Paul

Ramsey County · 15–20 minutes

Saint Paul's historic neighborhoods — especially Summit Hill, Crocus Hill, and Mac-Groveland — often fall under preservation district guidelines. We have experience navigating Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) reviews for exterior visible work.

Edina

Hennepin County · 15 minutes

Edina homeowners typically expect higher-end finishes — quartzite countertops, custom inset cabinetry, panel-ready appliances. Average kitchen remodel budgets in Edina trend $75,000–$150,000+, well above metro averages.

Minnetonka

Hennepin County · 20 minutes

Minnetonka has a mix of established 1970s–80s homes and newer construction. Many older Minnetonka kitchens have closed-off layouts that benefit dramatically from opening walls to create great-room layouts — a transformation we handle frequently.

Wayzata

Hennepin County · 25 minutes

Wayzata projects often involve lakefront properties with strict shoreline overlay district requirements. We've completed multiple high-end Lake Minnetonka kitchen renovations where coordination with landscape architects and dock contractors was part of the scope.

Eden Prairie

Hennepin County · 25 minutes

Most Eden Prairie homes were built in the 1990s and 2000s, meaning kitchens are now hitting their first major remodel cycle. We see a lot of dated honey-oak cabinet replacements and granite-to-quartz updates.

Bloomington

Hennepin County · 20 minutes

Bloomington has a high concentration of 1950s–60s ramblers, which often have small, galley-style kitchens. Many homeowners are opening up these kitchens to family rooms — one of our most common Bloomington remodel patterns.

Plymouth

Hennepin County · 20 minutes

Plymouth's housing stock skews newer (mostly 1985+). Common remodel scope here is updating dated 1990s finishes — Corian counters, oak cabinets, brass fixtures — to modern quartz, painted cabinets, and brushed nickel/black fixtures.

Maple Grove

Hennepin County · 25 minutes

Maple Grove is one of the metro's faster-growing suburbs with primarily newer construction. Most kitchen remodels here involve updating builder-grade finishes — entry-level cabinets and laminate counters — to mid-range or higher-end materials.

Eagan

Dakota County · 25 minutes

Eagan is in Dakota County, which sometimes catches Minneapolis-based contractors off guard with different permit fee structures and inspection schedules. We pull and manage Eagan permits regularly and know the inspectors.

Burnsville

Dakota County · 25 minutes

Burnsville has a strong mix of 1970s–80s split-level homes. Opening up the wall between the kitchen and dining area on these split-levels is one of our most common Burnsville remodel scopes.

See Burnsville services

Richfield

Hennepin County · 10 minutes

Richfield is an inner-ring suburb with primarily 1950s post-WWII housing stock. Original kitchens are tiny by modern standards (often 80–120 sq ft), so many of our Richfield remodels involve bumping out walls or annexing dining/pantry space.

See Richfield services

St. Louis Park

Hennepin County · 15 minutes

St. Louis Park has a strong stock of 1940s–50s small ramblers (often 1,100–1,400 sq ft) where the kitchen is undersized for modern family life. Common scope: bump out into the back yard or annex an adjacent dinette to create a real family kitchen.

See St. Louis Park services

Hopkins

Hennepin County · 20 minutes

Hopkins has a tight stock of historic small homes — many on 50-foot lots downtown. Kitchen remodels often have to work within tight floor plans where wall removal between kitchen and dining is the single biggest impact change.

See Hopkins services

Roseville

Ramsey County · 15 minutes

Roseville sits between Minneapolis and Saint Paul, and most of the housing stock is mid-century single-level (rambler) construction. Common scope: opening galley kitchens into great rooms and updating original 1960s baths.

See Roseville services

Apple Valley

Dakota County · 30 minutes

Apple Valley is primarily 1980s and newer construction. Most kitchen remodels here are first-cycle updates — replacing original honey-oak cabinets, white laminate counters, and brass fixtures with current materials.

See Apple Valley services

Lakeville

Dakota County · 30 minutes

Lakeville is one of the metro's fastest-growing suburbs with mostly 1990s–2010s construction. Builder-grade kitchens with stock cabinetry and laminate counters are now hitting their first remodel cycle.

See Lakeville services

Shakopee

Scott County · 25–30 minutes

Shakopee grew fast between 1995 and 2015, so most of the housing stock is builder-grade construction now hitting its first real remodel cycle. Stock oak or maple cabinets, laminate counters, and builder-basic bathrooms are the norm, which makes cabinet-and-counter replacement the highest-value upgrade here. Downtown near the river has genuinely older stock where plumbing and wiring surprises are more likely.

See Shakopee services

Savage

Scott County · 20–25 minutes

Savage is dominated by 1990s and 2000s construction, and split-levels and walkout ramblers are especially common. Split-level layouts often have a cramped galley kitchen closed off from the living space, so wall removal and island additions deliver the biggest visual change per dollar here.

See Savage services

Prior Lake

Scott County · 30–35 minutes

Prior Lake carries the highest median home value of the Scott County cities we serve, and lakefront property drives a premium remodeling market. Older lake cabins that were converted to year-round homes are common, and those often hide undersized plumbing, minimal insulation, and additions built without permits, so we budget contingency accordingly.

See Prior Lake services

Chaska

Carver County · 30–35 minutes

Chaska has an unusually mixed housing stock. Downtown holds genuinely historic homes, including local brick construction, while the Jonathan area is 1970s planned development and the outer rings are 1990s and later. Age matters a lot for remodel scoping here, so we confirm construction era before quoting, since a downtown brick home and a 2005 two-story are completely different projects.

See Chaska services

Chanhassen

Carver County · 25–30 minutes

Chanhassen has the highest median home value of any city in this group, and the housing stock skews toward 1980s and 1990s executive homes. Those homes are now prime candidates for full gut kitchen remodels, since original layouts often include closed-off kitchens, soffits above the cabinets, and dated two-story entry finishes.

See Chanhassen services

Rosemount

Dakota County · 25–30 minutes

Rosemount is one of the fastest-growing cities in Dakota County right now, and that growth has a direct effect on remodel timelines. City permit turnaround is currently running longer than neighboring suburbs because of construction volume, so we build that lead time into the schedule rather than discovering it mid-project.

See Rosemount services

Farmington

Dakota County · 30–35 minutes

Farmington has the most accessible median home value in this group, and much of the stock is 2000s starter and move-up housing. Those homes typically came with builder-grade finishes throughout, so budget-conscious scopes such as cabinet refacing, counter replacement, and tub-to-shower conversions tend to make more financial sense here than full gut renovations.
